Meet Jeff Reznicek, Ph.D.

Jeff Reznicek is a licensed psychologist and the founder of Evergreen Psychology in Denver, Colorado. He works with adults and couples navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, trauma, and stress.

His approach blends evidence-based methods like cognitive behavioral therapy, emotionally focused therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy with a grounded, straightforward style that helps clients create real, lasting change.

Jeff has been in independent practice since 2016 and holds licenses in both Colorado and California, as well as PSYPACT E.Passport authorization to see clients across participating states. He offers both in-person sessions in Denver and online therapy throughout Colorado.

My Approach to Therapy

My personal mindfulness practice began in 2002 when I took a college course on meditation. Beginning a formal meditation practice changed my life completely. What I discovered was that I had access to boundless quantities of acceptance, and that in each and every moment I had the opportunity to savor my existence, no matter the circumstances. This has profoundly changed how I live, love, eat, grieve, and play. I've attended several multi-day meditation retreats, and help guide clients in their own mindfulness practices if desired.

To me, the whole point of formal meditation practice is to be more prepared and equipped to handle life's challenges, messes, and unexpected surprises, and to savor all it has to offer. Life in our society can be so complex, hectic, and crazy-making, and mindfulness practice is a way to keep your sanity in a stressful world.

I believe therapy works best when it's direct, practical, and grounded in a real relationship. I'm not going to sit silently and nod. I'll challenge you when it's helpful, support you when you need it, and give you tools you can actually use outside of our sessions. My goal is to help you understand what's driving the patterns that aren't working and build something better in their place.
